stock 2002 front &rear fader and balance not working

Default stock 2002 front &rear fader and balance not working

am i missing something the owners manual says to push in and it will pop out either button will not pop out or let me change the balance or fader
the only speaker that works is the front right no other speakers work
is the stock radio itself bad??
is there any better instructions on setting up the radio
i can rebuild a engine but do not know how to set up a radio
man what a blonde moment i am having i know it is the gray covering the blonde hair

On my stock radio, the balance and fader buttons are spring loaded so you push on them, they pop out and you make your adjustments, then you push on them again and they recess into the housing and click into place.

One of mine was sticky, however, and wouldn't pop back out. I enlisted the help of my sister who has really long fingernails. She was able to grab it and pull it back out without marring the knob.

You might try some CRC electrical contact cleaner and moving them around. It's good stuff.

Very good suggestion. I was contemplating the same. A couple of little spritzes should do the job.

i got a answer to my quiz this morning i will tell you if you do not lol.
ok the button comes out ok, but why was it not adjusting well

this part is a secret not to share with anyone

ok i was still thinking hey!!! the reason it was not adjusting you have to turn the knob to adjust it does not do it by itself,, man what?? now who's laughing at who this was past a blonde moment
