Whoa, you paid $400 for a 50W subwoofer? They say you should pay about a dollar per Watt, for $400, you could get yourself a pretty nice system.

To each his own...well worth the $400 for a GREAT sounding subwoofer that does not take up any space or require adding an amplifier with all those ugly wires! I have had $2000 systems in the past and at this point in my life the little sub works just fine.

You also might try replacing your stock speakers.
I went with pioneer 3 way's in the rear and doors.
They greatly improved the sound.The factory speakers have a
plastic mesh cover on them which doesn't help. Also
try flipping over your rear shelf.The sound will
bounch off better. It's a cheap fix.
