Default Alarmed PT owners

Hi was wondering where the alarm siren is located as I wanna do an engine clean and I usually wrap them in a bag beforehand but I just can't spot it and neither can my car savvy friend! Or Google!?

The "alarm" on the PT is the flashing of the headlights and beeping of the horn. No wrapping needed.

Cool Re: Alarmed PT owners

Like Crewzin said it's the regular horn that is used as the noise maker for the factory alarm.

If you are the 2nd or 3rd owner, one of the others could have added an alarm system.

Export version (British-European) factory alarm systems have a siren that is located behind the left front-wheel fender splash shield.
Try turning the ignition key to on (not start) and back to off, three times ending in off. If this works to toggle into "valet" mode, you might hear the horn chirp and then see the red indicator on the dash flash in a repeating pattern.
My Mopar OEM (post-factory install) alarm has a built in shock sensor that can be adjusted to "TOO" sensitive.
Also, in some export versions, the dome light includes an "ultrasonic intrusion sensor", essentially a motion detector; a moth might set it off.

Hi thanks for this guys, can confirm is a siren have just tried it now it's daytime and yes makes sense that it's there as I could not see it. Appreciate all the input.

Oh and I'm pretty certain is stock, the fobb is chrysler and I do have the sensor things in the middle roof dome light, also bonnet, and rear doors have factory pressure switches installed.

Think id prefer a horn one the horn on this thing is cool very American and that siren is ear shattering!! Lol
