Default installing a head unit...

So I now see how inexpensive online shopping can be when you troll for head units... the problem is - I've never installed one... I probably should leave this up to the pro's, right? Anyone know hom much installation of a head unit would cost me? I'm in LA, so if anyones in the area, maybe you could point me in the right direction...

thanks...

Ramon

for a HU install the norm is $40-$50 + parts. it is very easy tho, all you need is a wire harness adapter, an installation kit to attach the new HU and an antena adapter cause chrysler uses a special antenna tip. the first time i did it, it took me like 30 min. all you do is match the wires on the adapter to the HU's harness. you dont use some of the wires from the hu like the illumination. try it first and then if you dont get it right , take it to a audio shop. it dosent hurt to try. then later on, you can charge your friends to install their HU's[8D]
