Default Issues with speaker...

Hi everyone,

New member here. I have a 2006 Cruiser Base. For some reason I'm not getting sound out of the passenger speaker in the front door. The back speaker and the front dash speaker work on that side. Does this sound like a speaker issue or wiring problem?

Thank you muchly

It could be either one, or it could be the stereo itself. The only way to check is to pull the door panel(s), and test it. You could swap speakers from the front doors, or if you have another speaker, try it.

Have you introduced yourself?? Go to the new members page and let everyone know.

I'd be willing to bet it's a blown speaker, but as always could be something else. It's pretty easy to wreck stock speakers if you like loud music like I do. If blown, I would suggesting replacing them with aftermarket Rockford Fosgate speakers. I have 6.5''s up in the doors.

Unless you have the factory amp, the door speakers are connected in parallel with the dash speakers. So if the passenger dash speaker works, chances are that problem is in the passenger door speakers itself or the wiring in between.

Thanks everyone. Upon further examination... The dash speaker and the door speaker on the passenger side do not work. Since they are parallel this would suggest a wiring /head unit issue?
