Default Aftermarket tweeter positioning

I recently upgraded my entire audio system. (THE WHOLE DANG THING)
I'm just wondering if the factory mounting point for the tweets is sufficient or if I should mod up the A-pillar and mount em there. Thanks in advance for any input!
Have a nice day and keep on Cruising

The location of speakers is mostly (about 90%) personal preference. There is all kinds of information about the where's and why's but in the end it is all about what you like.

I just ordered ordered a set component set of Morels and Focals in which many have said that the highs produced with the focal are so crystal clear in factory location of sash or pillar locations that they need to be turn down.

Maybe soft mount them with tape in a couple trial locations and see why YOU like and then figure out the more permanent mounting of them?

The factory location isn't the best place, but it is sufficient enough for me. Higher frequencies are very directional and produce more of a "thin beam." It will bounce of the windshield but won't aim directly where you want. Plus the tweeter on the passenger side won't aim directly towards your left ear.

In my car I have 3.5" two-way speakers so they technically aren't tweeters but I use them as tweeters. If you have 1" tweeters then I would surface mount them in the a-pillar or on some kind of stand so they direct towards you.
