i mounted mine to the sub box as well, but i guess it all depends on how you're subs are installed....

can you give more details gfresh?

gfresh, "Custom look", to me, means a visible change. If it's hidden, it looks like OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) because nothing is apparently different. It seems like there are folks here that could give you good advice if you can define your requirements for them.

I went to Circuit City and had a 4 channel, 45watts per channel, amp installed. Sounds good with stock speakers, at least good enough until I can afford to upgrade the speakers. I went to CC because my pt turbo is a lease and with the installation done by CC they will restore the stereo system to original when and if I decide to get rid of my pt. Cost was $318, includes Pioneer amp, cables, and installation. Amp was installed under driver seat, hardly noticable.
