Factory radio has lost the display
Not sure of the cause, but suspecting a corroded fuse terminal here ....... this unit will faintly flash a partial display - but only very briefly & only when the ign switch is turned on/off. Any advice or thoughts ??

Orig owner: Patriot Blue 2001 LE 5-spd, 100% stock except for K&N air filter. Odometer reads 317,319 miles & we're still wheezing-along on the 2nd engine, 4th gearbox, 3rd ECM, 6th radiator, 3rd rack & pinon.

I think mine did that if the key wasn't pushed in all the way.

does the door chime work when you leave the key in the ignition and open the door?
If not the ground between the steering column and the body is bad. Add a wire to make a secondary ground. Mine had a similar issue a number of years ago, blank radio display, no door chime and maybe something else. Added the extra ground wire and all issues solved.
