Default mopar or JL

What subwoofer would you guys reccomend? I have heard the mopar unit and I was impressed with the sound and the power.I have not heard the JL audio stealthbox and would like your guys input. How about the cost? How much is the mopar woofer? I saw the JL audio stealtbox at goodguys for 499.00. Is that a good price or do you guys know somewhere I could get a better deal on any of the two. Thanks in advance.

I would go for the JL Audio, if those are the only two you are interested in. You can go a lot louder, for a lot cheaper, or get just as good for way cheaper.

The JL is larger (10"), but more expensive and you have to run it off an amplifier, which means changing out the head unit or finding a way to connect to the factory unit without any inputs on it (see other threads on this one). SO, yeah, you can go louder, but it'll cost you. And, if you have the Sirius Satellite radio, you can't use the JL stealthbox because it doesn't leave room for the sattelite receiver which is mounted in the left rear panel, too.[:0]

I have a Kenwood 859 deck, 959 amp & JL. Added Sirius last October and didn't look back. Bite the bullet and do it all at once. Saving the factory head unit is not worth the $200 savings, plus the Kenwood deck looks soooooo much nicer.
