i already installed my rear speakers (a pair of pioneer ts-a6880r)
BUT . . . the only way they would fit, is to install them with the metal terminals facing upwards (i had to run the crutchfield wire harness down the side of the speaker). they sound great, but is that safe? (i know the speakers have a pretty decent magnet on the back). the other way, with the terminals facing the ground, they just would not fit (i was afraid of breaking the metal terminals in the back). second question: i am about to embark on installing the front door speakers. the crutchfield harness will fit the front too right? i have a 2004 touring, non turbo. some of the audio guys i've talked to have said that chrysler changed the harness on the front speakers. |

Crutchfield is an absolute rip off, the only thing they're good for is advice and those rare parts that you can't find any place else. Take a look at Ebay, buy your speakers, and have Circuit City or someone put them in for $35... or just do it yourself. Buy the right size speaker and you shouldn't need harnesses and all that stuff.
