Default Dvd in dash player

I saw something the other day and am wondering if anybody has it. The dvd player goes where the cd player and radio goes. It seems to slide back inside the center console when not in use. Is this correct and is there that much room back there. This is the one: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....product&cmp=++

Gonzo, I know a few here have the Pioneer unit with the pop out screen so apparently there is room.

Also, alot of us here use www.crutchfield.com as a guide. Go to car audio, put in make of car (over to the right) and see if they say the Kenwood fits in the Cruiser.

ADDITION: Just had some time to check out Crutchfield for you

GTCruiser 2003,
This is off topic but I noticed you sound deadened your hole interior. 2 questions: What product did you use & how much material did it take? I've been thinking of doing this but wasn't sure it would make a difference.[:I]

i used some industrial deadening from a comp called macmaster-carr. it is basically the same as dynamat original, but only $15 for 12 ft*3. dynamat is like $20 for 4 ft. i got about 100 ft*3 and did 2 layers on the floor, and a layer on the doors and walls.took me a whole day to do the car. i think i still have like 15 ft left.
