Hello all,
I searched the forums and couldn't find anything on this topic. My '04 came with Sirius radio. I definitely want to keep it, but would like to upgrade the rest of the components, including the headunit. Does anyone know if the stock Sirius will plug into an aftermarket headunit that is designed for Satellite Radio? Thanks! Katie |

Katie,
I know it will be a big pain, but could you post some pics of the Sirius tuner pack, particularly pics of the sides where the connectors are? I have a sneaking suspicion that the Sirius tuner pack might be made by Sanyo. However, it has been a long practice that car manufacturers want a unique interface protocol so that aftermarket units do not directly connect. Anyhoo, if that doesn't work out, you can still reuse your roof-mounted antenna for another Sirius system. I think you will need the Sirius antenna adaptor since they have converted from a two lead antenna to a single lead antenna for the new aftermarket tuner packs. Scott
