Hello guys im a college student naturally and well my PT is overheating like a madman.. ive done everything i can think of, i think its a headgasket.. issue is all my tools are in illinois where i live when not at school lol.. so that means i cant do this job myself, do any of you local guys want to make some cash?? or anyone care if i borrow your tools n garage to do this in?? ill pay n buy food..

I just cant afford the dealer or a local mechanic ive been quoted 1000 dollars and im sorry i just cant afford it, jobs super slow right now and i can barely make my pt's payment and its dyin! gahhh!!! will life ever let up a lil??

not 100% sure but im 99% sure.. ive went and checked everything i can think of and its leaking air/exhaust into the coolant and causes it to heat up so much it boils out and the system gets extremely pressurized. im pretty sure its that. just gotta find someone to help me get this fixed..

Have you got everything together for the change? My brother has a place in Walhalla I'm sure we can use. It is not the prettiest shop but there are tools and some shade.

hey i know where that is actually! yeah i ordered the head gasket set from advance the other day and im just waiting for it to come in, and i bought the head bolts. im hoping the head isnt warped cause again me not from bein around here, i dont know where shops are at etc.. ill shoot ya a pm

i have everything i believe to do this. its just when could we? I am going to be swamped over next weekend and this week prob isnt good cause im preparing for it. however when its done early the week after the 4th i have all the time in the world to get this done. and then i pray that this fixes the heating up issue..

help anyone?? i fly home thurs and i will be back on tues of next week.. If anyone wants my car during that time to do the head gasket for me please let me know.. i will pay... i can bring the car to you today even!! as long as i have a ride back..
