Hey all good luck on starting your group. Thought I'd pass on some info so you could meet over PT's from around the state. As amx said there are a bunch of PT's that meet at tower shops every friday. I am with the FloridaPTCruiserClub. both clubs meet at shows but other wise they do things seperatly. Again good luck

LAKERIDGE WINERY & VINEYARD ROAD TRIP

October 12th, 2003 (Sunday)

Lakeridge Winery & Vineyard will be having a festival with Vintage Autos, 50/60's music (including Elvis), food booths, wine tasting and Winery/Vineyard tours. The festival will be from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The price for the festival is $2.00 per person. If you need to know any further information about the festival, their phone number is 800-768-9463. (Remember, this is a road trip, not a car show, so you don't have to worry about having your cars spotless when we arrive. Of course knowing most us will clean them anyway, but at least you have an option this time.)

We will be meeting at 8:00 AM at the rest area on I-95 just south of SR 206 (this way anyone coming from St Augustine, Alabama or Georgia can also start the Cruise with us). We will leave at 8:15 AM SHARP.

Our route will be I-95 to SR 92 WEST (International Speedway Blvd). We will be at SR 92 between 9:15 to 9:45 (depending on traffic) for anyone wanting to join us from the Daytona Area or South, you can file in behind us (You can probably wait at Denny's restaurant or at one of the hotels West of I-95). We will then go to I-4 west and take I-4 west to SR-408 Exit 82A (East-West Expy - Toll Road). After 9.1 miles we will be bearing right onto Florida's Turnpike North (Ronald Reagan Turnpike-Toll Rd) for 6.3 miles. We will exit Turnpike at US 27 Exit 285. Taking US 27 North, we will arrive at Lakeridge Winery, 19239 US 27 North, Clermont Florida.

Thanks for the Info Marvin...!!
Our first meet was a success, small but still a success...!!
The weather held out, although it was promising to rain, it didn't. Good thing though, I got to wash the Kroozah and throw a couple coats of wax on her..!!
Here are the pic's from the first club meet. Kroozah and Dcruizer

LetÂ’s see if we can get more of you out there to drop on by next time..!!
Enjoy....!! Hope to see more of you out there soon...!![8D]

Marvin,

Thanks for the reminder about Lakeridge. I'm part of the Florida PT Cruiser Club (at least I think so). I mailed a renewal check on July 7th and it hasn't been cashed, so I might not be a member anymore. I've been keeping up more with the Tampa Bay Cruisers. I met with the FPTCC last time you all went to the winery and then we all went to Mount Dora for an overnight stay. I put the Lakeland Cruise on my calendar and hopefully I can meet some of the old members there on the 12th. Maybe ZeroCrash and other can join in.
