Mopars at Big Daddy's - Ocala,FL

Anyone going to this? I went two years ago when I had my last R/T Dakota and enjoyed it.
I'll be coming in from the Atlanta area.

Myself and three other cruisers went last year. Overall we had a good time. Lots a great looking cars that came out of the garage and storage to strut their stuff. I never saw so many Road Runners and Big Blue Birds in my life. Anyhow, there were loads of trophies to be given out but we could tell when the judges came around that they were thinking...what the heck are these things doing here? Our thoughts proved out correctly when none of the PTs won anything. Not saying we were the cream of the crop, but you would have thought that one of us would have gotten something..like my friend from Orlando who almost always picks up a 1st place or best of show. I might go again, if anything to see the cars and go thru the museum again because it's only about 40 minutes from my house.

Yeah, I don't plan on winning anything yet anyway since my car is still stock. I just like going for the atmosphere and people.

OK, people! It's about time to head down to Ocala. I'll be getting down there sometime tomorrow evening with a couple of Dakota R/T guys. Not sure where we're staying yet, but I'm hopefully sharing a room with someone.
Just so you all know, the drag strip in Orlando has late-night racing on Saturday. Me and a couple of Dakota R/T guys were going to head down there and they race from 10-2AM on Saturdya night, and it's only about an hour and a half, so fun fun.
I'll be at the show in my car, and should have a nice yellow and blue Hella EZ-Up tent with me for shade too, if needed.At any rate, I look forward to meeting some of you, and raising a little hell if possible.

Well The show at Garlits was really nice, the weather was great, and NONE of the people from here went!!! I was one of only 2 Turbo cars there, and only about a dozen or less PTs total!
Saki - I had a nice new Hella hat to trade you for that filter!

I was hoping to meet some of you and get some ideas, but alas, not to be.I did see another Turbo there that had functional older Corvette side-pipes, which looked good. I'll post pics soon.
Oddities included a Viper GTS ACR being in the same class as us, and taking 2nd place between two PTs.
Anyway, I hope to see a bunch of you guys and gals there next year.

Rough couple weeks, and alas, school caught up with me and I stayed home working on an accounting project all sunday. [V] I was really looking forward to it, but school over fun has kept me making Dean's list so I cant mess that up over a Mopar show. Hopefully Ill be able to get that K&N to you sometime soon.
