Default Cruising the Pig II

Ok folks, time to start planning to attend! Our annual pig-picking, Cruising the Pig II will be Saturday - September 25th. From noon - until, in Bahama, NC

Last year we had over 30 PTs and 70+ folks at our "little" backyard barbeque. Last years photos are at http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/...Pig%20Picking/

We're looking foward to an even bigger and better time this year, and can't wait for you to join us!

Only 5 weeks till Cruising the Pig II. So far we have 16 Cruisers and about 40 folks signed up to come. There are folks coming from as far away as North Charleston, SC and Roanoke, VA, as well as all over NC.

One PTer even claims residence in TimBuckToo, South Africa! ( I think he's try to slip in on the "Out of the Way" Award ) [:I]

If you've already signed up, thanks! If you've haven't, now is a great time to do so. Remember, you need to be signed up by Sept. 17th so we can be sure we have enough pig for everyone to cruise!

Folks, we just 3 weeks away from CRUISING THE PIG II, so far we have a total of 22 cars and 54 people signed up!

Tony & Wally, some of the last sign-ups are Coastal folks, thanks for helping get the word out!

We still have some folks that have mentioned coming but haven't signed up yet, so if you hear from these folks, please remind them to sign-up if they're planning to come.

Come on folks, we'd really like to make this bigger and better than last year, so encourage your PT buds that haven't signed up yet to do so! Remember you need to be signed up by Sept 17th so we can get a good count for food!

Here's the place! http://tom.ptenthusiasts.net/about.html

Thanks, Tom

Hi Richard,
Glad to see you'll be joining us again this year. I had looked into dash plaques, but wasn't able to do them due to other circumstances.
I have a webstore setup with t-shirts, etc at http://www.cafepress.com/ctp if you're interested.

Tom

Well folks, the count is in. Less that a week now to Cruising the Pig II and we're currently expecting 32 Cruisers and 68 people for our "little" backyard pig-picking!

Our "registration" is simply a way for us to gauge the amount of food we need, so if you haven't registered and would still like to come, please do!

Several have written asking about what to bring, times, etc.

As far as food, we'll have the basics covered. But if you'd like to bring a side dish such as baked beans or vegetables, sodas or a desert of some kind, that would be great. Tommy, you know we've got to try some of that mustard bbq sauce!

Be sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets etc to sit upon, as this is a outdoor event.

Please try to be here by Noon, we'll try to start eating shortly after.

Currently the extended weather forcast for Saturday is a few clouds and mid
to high 70s with almost no chance of rain.
I'm looking forward to a beautiful day for cruising and hanging out!
See ya'll Saturday! [^]

Thanks to everyone who attended Cruising the Pig II. We ended up with a total of 28 Cruisers and 65 great folks to share a great day with!

David Windt raffled a set of his custom seat backs and a glove box table to raise funds for Carolina PT Cruisers. James Petree won the raffle, and $86.00 was raised.

Our "Out of the Way" Award went to Sherri & Roger Austin of Lenoir, NC

In our "Kids Choice" Show:
1st Place "Best of Show" went to Tony Hackney
2nd Place "Almost Best of Show went to John Gray
3rd Place "Not Quite Best of Show" went to Brian Kirby

Our Photos are at http://photobucket.com/albums/v317/t...he%20Pig%20II/

Again, our thanks to everyone who came out. We had a great time!

Tom, Triste & kids
