Default tire failure

Have experienced two front wheel blowouts, inner sidewall on my 2003 Gt. 39,000 miles. Tires are Goodyear Eagles, 205/50R17 H93.
Has anyone experienced this?

Have not myself, but I have had two bad tires off the lot from dealer and are still riding on one bad one today. AT 28,000 these tires have less then they should on tread and Lincions head is exposed telling me to replace them.

Best bet is to replace with better tires. Forget the Goodyears and get something else.

Use
tirerack.com
to find a tire that may suit your needs.

Good luck
and welcome to the forum. [?]

Welcome.
King Kole said it - we call them "Good-for-a-Year" tires.
Lotsa folks, myself included, have been very pleased with Michelin Hydroedge.
You should try going to dealer - they will steer you to a Goodyear dealer... but they'll probably just give you more Goodyears...

Hey, you got almost 40,000 miles out the tires. I would say that you got about all that they could give.
