Does your PT have an Auto or Manual tranny? If you have an Auto make sure you follow the steps on the instuctions for it. You will love just how quick the shifts are with the Stage 1 just as much as you will love the extra power.

It's a Touring Edition so i'm stuck with the auto trans.
Is it difficult to do the quick learn on the trany?'cause
if it's too long/difficult i might let the dealer do it
with his DRB scanner.

Any of you just running the stage 1 without anything else?
I mean NO BOV/exhaust/boost controler?Can i just install
the S1 now and wait a little for the next mods?

NO ! NO ! NO !
dont let the dealer do it they will erase your Stage 1 computer setings and you will have to remove your computer and send it back to flight systems. I left the dealer do mine and now I just found out from some other pters that if you dont get a srror code with stage1 you no longer have stage1 programing.

I did the quick learn myself and it took about an hour. Make sure you find a road that is little used and have the ability to reach 55 mph on.

I did add the Mopar BOV to mine before I added the Stage 1. The BOV is fairly cheap and not too difficult to install. There are only 3 bolts holding it on. One of the bolts can be a pain to get out due to an oil line running right over it but the rest is easy.

Stage I was the last mod I did before the hyperground. I found that the "crispness" would fade over time so I installed a battery disconnect swith to the ground and every so often I disconnect the battery and it goes back to a learning mode. After that I do a couple of WOT's and the throttle is more responsive and the shifts are crisp. By far the biggest bang for the buck seems to be the VAK UCP. When that was installed, before Stage I, I thought I added 50 HP [8)]
The quick learn isn't difficult, although I had marked down the number of "runs" needed and checked them off as I did each one. You only have to get to 55 so you have to watch out because it only takes a few seconds to get there with Stage I.
Good luck, and try to keep a streight fast after you install it. [8)]
