Look at it this way troops.....We still get a lot better fuel economy than all those SUV's. Besides, I think I get equal or better mileage with my Stage 1. It takes dicipline to keep my foot out of it though. Many stations around here (Detroit) are out of regular anyway.

It depends dpj450 on the SUV. There are small, medium and large. Most small and mediums get the same or better gas mileage then the Cruisers. Not all SUV's are gas hogs.

It's $3.31 here in Maryland for Premium.

I'm not one to complain, but is anyone else with S1 getting terrible gas mileage? I usually only get around 200 - 220 per tank (around 14.8 gallons when I fill up) -- Which is pathetic if you ask me! The most I've gotten so far is 17 MPG, with around 85-90% highway miles.

I do not drive the car very hard and I've tried almost everything to try and conserve gas. The car is regularly maintained (though it only has aboust 5500 miles).

Help?! Any ideas?

So is it ok to use 87 90 or 89 instead? This is getting crazy.

Same gas mileage here, I fill up the tank every two days. [:I]

Most cruisers with the S1 site improvement in gas mileage. I know qsd will suggest new spark plugs and cables (which can't hurt) but I think AZ-iceman has done this already.
