Default Installing plugs and wires

Got my NGK Iridium and Magnecore 8.5mm wires. Anything I need to know or special tools?

I have an '04 Stage 1 car.

Thanks!

Nope. On a turbo '04 you don't have to remove anything (like intake).
Suggest a piece of hose to pull old plugs out and to start new plugs - unless you have a plug socket with the rubber inside to grip the insulation. The plugs are WAY DOWN in there.
I also went with dielectric grease - a little on the ceramic & more on outside of plug boots to prevent sticking, and a dab of anti-seize on the plug threads.
I went 'till snug on the threads, then quarter to 1/2 turn beyond that.

ALWAYS use antisieze on spark plug threads destined for an aluminum head. An ounce of prevention...[|)]

Go get a 5/8" plug socket with the universal joint attached at the top. It makes it really easy to get them in and out. And a 12" extension. And gap plugs at .031 to .038, Mopar reccomends .035.

My experience with the NGK Iridiums is that plug gap is not that important and I left mine at the factory setting and it works great.

Not true. Some manufacturers recommend not to. You might over torque because threads are filled. Didn't use it on my modified '03 GT or my '05 SRT-4. Use proper torque and not by feel and you won't have problems.

And to think the dealer would charge you around $100 for that.
