Is there a time that we should not consider putting in a stage 1 kit. For example, I have an '03 manual GT with 50,000km or 30,000 miles on it. When is the car too old to be upgrade or does it not matter? When should we say...ok...too old...will actually do some damage. I'm considering putting the kit in place, but worry about older mileage cars.
Can anyone enlighten me on the subject. Also, can a stage 1 be put in without any other mods(muffler, air kit etc.)? want the power, but don't want to dump more than that in. Thanks, Yukonsly |

At 30,000 miles you have just broken in the engine so no worries. And yes, the Stage 1 is a great stand alone mod. Get it.

Go for it.

OK...so mileage has nothing to do with it...car could have 100,000 miles and you guys would still do it? Humh....maybe I will. since it is my wife's car...that she uses daily....and she does not have a lead foot....would she notice? What I'm going for is....I want the power not her....soooo she could potentially get pissed if I dropped money in the car....is it one of those things that unless you stomp on it, you won't know it's there?
you guys sure are building a good case for me to do it hahahha Later! |

You got the same problem as I do, but I dont think your wife will know what you have done unless she suddenly floors it!!

I'm close to 30k and with no engine problems at all.......Would it be crazy to worry about getting stage 1 and warranty?
