Is it a real requirement to change the plugs and wires when installing the Stag 1 upgrade on my 05 GT, it only has 4k miles. I will do this if it is really needed, just wondering. Your comments are appreciated [:I]

Bob,
"Requirement" is too strong a term for sure. We have 10K on our Stage 1 installation (23K total on the GT) and are still on the original plugs & wires. The car still runs great, but since the original wires are known to not be long-life parts it's just a matter of time before they start to cause a 'miss' and driveability issues. At only 4K miles I would wait until you have a problem or around 25K miles to change them, whatever comes first. YMMV ![]() Brian
