That 's not so crazy considering whats involved. And as far as I know there was a stage 2 at one time, but has been discontinued because of lack of sales for it. Only the Neon SRT-4 had noticable sales for the stage 2 and there is even a stage 3 for that car now. Not enough PT turbos bought the stage 2 so it was pulled. I bet you could buy the stage 2 or even 3 for the SRT-4 and it would still work for the PT. The turbos/engines are basicaly the same for those two cars.

Mr. Barton , where do you live? I live in Carson, CA and if you live anywhere near here, the Carson Dealership did mine for 180.

My dealer charged me $143 for installation of STAGE 1, Mopar BOV, and a new custom-made 3-inch/diameter turbo to airbox pipe. Pefect job on all counts and no problems whatsoever after 19 months of use.

If ya lived anywhere in SoCal I'd do it for the price of you driving to my place. Other than that, no charge at all...it's a very simple install. If you can unplug a few wires, uninstall and reinstall 6 screws with a 10mm wrench, you'll be perfectly fine

Unless he has an 03 GT, it's crazy. It's a PCM swap for God's sake! And NO, there has never been public release of Stage 2 for the Cruiser. EVER. Chrysler shortchanged us on that one. Doesn't matter anyway, because better numbers can be made with Stage 1 and the right mods for less money. And NO, SRT-4 Stage Systems will not work. They don't have cruise or air, and no one will program a cruiser VIN to a SRT PCM.

That's right. The '03 Stage 1 is more involved because you have to change the injectors and remove/replace the intake manifold. All other years it's just changing the PCM and maybe peeling and sticking the emblem.

The dealer is an idiot about the Stage 2 for a Cruiser. None have ever been released for sale so none were ever "installed". [B)]
