Well, this is were I'm confused.
The Stage 1 with stock WGA is supposed to peak at 14 psi or so. St 2 WGA is a bolt on mode (asume I don't use a BC). According to ppl who installed this WGA it's supposed to boost crazy fist and then calm down after which you can tune it to the desired level (usually 17-18 to about 15 at redline) by turning the nut on the arm.
So 13 is kind of falling out of this picture. Is it a peak setting or redline? Why woudl you want to have it that low anyway?
It is not a peak or redline setting. When you run a straight vac line from the back of the turbo to the wga and go WOT, your psi will peak out at the wga setting. You want to turn the stage 2 wga down untill you get it popping this way at about 13psi. After that, when you hook up your stock lines, the PCM will have better control of the wga and the boost will calm down faster, however it still should boost to 18-20 psi with the stock lines on. See, the PCM has to "learn" when to open the solenoid to pop the wga at the right time. There is a lag time between the solenoid popping the wga popping. Now you may need to readjust the wga to get the perfect boost level, but setting it this way seems to make the PCM more able to control the stiffer spring in the stage 2 wga.
