Ok, I finally have a full tank of 93 octane... Where's my wrench...

Then I realized... I have no MM sockets.... After a Home Depot trip and getting 40% done, I find that a cable tie (holding one of the wiring harness bundles) on a plastic plug is holding the PCM bracket to the car. ugh... I didn't have anything to cut it with.... [xx(] So I put the screws back in and reconnected everything and took a nap. Then it was raining.... this will have to wait, maybe tomorrow night. I didn't feel like doing a tranny quick learn in the rain. [xx(]

One Gripe: The instructions forgot to mention a bolt, and two cable ties.
It ended up taking 1 hour to install.

I ended up making right hand turn loops through Grant Park here (at 11pm) in Chicago to do my tranny learn. It was kind of fun. 15 ... 14 ... 13 ... 12 ... 11 ... you get the idea. I had my friend with to keep me honest. :-)

Stage 1 is an impressive upgrade.

Driveability is greatly improved, I can now pass while going 80 mph. The reaction of the car on anything causing a kickdown is amazing. I started doing the 40mph kickdown part of the tranny learn and was grinning from being thrown into my seat.

Definitely money well spent.
