Here's a list of the fastest PT turbos.
http://home.comcast.net/~cuillard/FastestTimesList.htm One thing I left out before you start raising the boost is a boost gauge. I used an Auto Meter AUTO METER® MECHANICAL VACUUM BOOST GAUGES - JCWhitney Auto Parts AGP wga AGP Turbochargers, Inc. :: SRT-4 :: Boost Control/WGA :: SRT-4 Wastegate Actuator Kit It says SRT-4, but you'll find a lot of the parts are interchangeable with the PT turbo. This is the DSBC I used. AGP Turbochargers, Inc. :: SRT-4 :: Boost Control/WGA :: Turbo XS Dual Stage Boost Controller

im amazed at how cheap these parts are, compared to adding more power to an N/A engine. i have a boost gauge, i just need to get an air/fuel gauge and the a-piller gauge pod. so 17psi is max with the stock fuel system ? how much boost does the car make in stock form ?

I had my AGP wga set at 11 psi. First stage of my DSBC was set at 15 psi. No PTB (part throttle boost) and you could drive around all day on the first setting. Second stage of the DSBC was set at 18 psi. PTB was bad in the first two gears. The best way to drive it when you were really getting on it was to use the first stage of the DSBC for the first two gears and when you hit third gear you flip the switch to the second stage of the DSBC. Then you'd better hang on.
