Can we kill this topic anymore? We have been told the issues we brought up in work, who knows what'll happen...just wait and see and stop b*tching already...all 18 pages of this thread say the same thing....bla bla bla warranty...bla bla bla emission approved...I agree on both topics it needs to be fixed...but why keep beating a dead horse? Wait until we get the final word on it, then vent...Is there anything some of ya'll like about your PT? Rear sway bar...stage one...cargo net...bla bla bla...if you had so many issues why did you by a PT? Do I want the rear sway bar fixed...yes...do I want stage one covered with a warranty...yes...do I want it emission approval...yes...but you can only say the same thing so many ways before all you do is make yourself sound like a complete a$#....PATIENTS and all will come to those that wait...and if it doesn't happen, don't waste your money...just my 2 cents...if I piss anyone off I'm sorry, but I am just sick of visiting here to only see negative posts...this board use to be more than just a b*tch session...lets get back to talking about other things besides sway bar/warranty/emission.....[xx(][V][xx(]

I think Kerby will not be able to handle the extra power of the stage 1, and is just scared to admit it.

I wanted the stage 1` kit . I see both sides but I,[xx(] like pk,tthrift, pvo dgc am sick of the whining . Make up your own mind do what's right for you and your car ! The last few pages in this thread aren't gonna get DC/Mopar to change anything . Even so I'm still on the fence myself. But I'm sick of reading DEQ /warranty issues . Please someone get the damn kit installed and tell us how it feels/post dyno ,etc ! [xx(][B)]

Kirby,

Actually the people in Ohio will NOT be affected by smog belched out of PT Cruisers in Pennsylvannia. The prevailing winds and jet stream in that part of the country carry the polution eastward. So it would be New York and New England.

Sorry to hear about your son wrecking your PT. Maybe you should trade it in on some foreign iron with great customer relations, warranties, etc. That way we can slow the rate of growth on this forum. The horse is dead - you can put the whip away now.

Jeez your like the kid at school that keeps coming up with reasons he can't do his homework right. If he wants to be in the advanced classes, he just has to put up. DC STATED that they are looking for the perfomance oriented street cars for these units. How do they expect to reach an informed audience that will put out there money for their street driven vehicles but do so under the threat of fine by the fed and loss of warranty? They want to be in the class but not do the hoemwork.

District Service Manager[)] (nicknamed ours Judge Roy Bean) is the law when it comes to warranty.Dont believe anything you see published and maybe write to your DSM[)] before you supply Chrysler with a VIN to void the warranty on.

THIS THREAD WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. TO D/C IT'S A BUNCH OF CAR ENTHUSIASTS WHINING ABOUT SOMETHING THAT MEANS NOTHING TO THEM. THIS IS NOT THEIR "BREAD & BUTTER" AREA, WE DO NOT DRIVE MINIVANS AND MAKE UP PROBABLY THE SMALLEST MARKET SHARE OF THEIR SALES... GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS, THEY DO NOT CARE!!! BUY IT IF YOU WANT TO GO FAST, OR WAIT FOR STAGE II IF YOU WANT TO GO FASTER. EITHER WAY AS A TUNER IT'S ALWAYS AN UP HILL FIGHT FOR WARRANTY ISSUES THAT'S THE WAY IT IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE, YOU GOTTA PAY TO PLAY.

sorry about the caps, it's just aggrevating to see the same threads over and over with no apparent purpose.
