Default 06 Stage 1

Does anyone know when the Stage 1 is going to come out for the 06 turbo. I have called Mopar and they have told me there is a part number for the Stage 1 but they have no idea when it will be released. Just thought someone would know more. Thanks

I am sure someone knows and Tommy at Haynes does have two numbers to order but nothing has been released for sale so far!

Just ordered my 2006 Stage 1 from Haynes today. They became available for order last week according to an e-mail from Haynes. It's about time! My old 2004 PT GT auto had Stage 1 and it's been killing me to drive my 2006 5-speed without Stage 1! It's slower than my old one, even with the MTX!

All the numbers are at Haynes now so all 2006 Turbo models can be ordered for stage 1. My price was $440.

Quicksilverdon,
I see you have just the rear of your car lowered 1.5"s. Were you able to buy just the two rear springs to do that and where did you get them from. I would like to do the same to my 03 turbo.

Mine arrived today and I've already installed it. A significant seat-of-the-pants difference. Particulary in first gear!!

How much does the Stage 1 cost? I have seen several Prices, between $395 and $440. What is the actual price on this? The dealership I have been working with claims COST is $549 for them.

Any idea where that number would come from? I am trying to buy a new 2006 GT, and trying to work with about getting the S1 installed before I will think about taking delivery, but they claim their cost for just the part(s) is $549.

Also - I have seen a couple sites ask for Mileage, however, I've heard several times that mileage is not needed? If mileage is needed, how are people swapping back and forth between stock and stage 1? That would put their cars at an odometer discrepancy...

Thanks!

Matt
