My memory from research on PTCrew was that the stage 2 fits Neons and not PT's because the Neon intake manifold arrangement is completely different from the same engine in a PT, because of underhood space. There are a bunch of cruisers running over at PTCrew that have huge amounts of horsepower, through turbo upgrades and the like, and there is a guru over there that builds an extremely durable automatic transmission which is used for racing by some. As was previously stated, the standard automatic is pretty tough for general driving unless you do a lot of boosting while in high gear.

Actually, it's a weak link, even in the 150 hp PT. Been there, seen that.

Look up agpturbo.com they have developed an upraged turbo kit for the Gt's that come with many diffrent options on the size of the turbo and power levels that you want. I would only suggest that to 5spd owners and not auto's. my 05 gt ho is an auto and I can already tell just be driving it, its a weak tranny that probly cant handle 300hp and I really dont want to find out. Stage 1, exhaust and Intake will be it for me. Dont want to invest in a new tranny.
