You shouldn't have any problems with emissions with Maryland or any other state. It's a Chrysler upgrade and I'm sure they did numerous tests before letting it be installed on their cars. Haven't seen the new computer but there's probably a sticker of some sort on it or paperwork with it that says it's DOT approved.

I dont think the Stage 1 kit is even CARB exempt for california use. on mopar's website it states that the kit is not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Forgot about California.....ya can't do ANYTHING to any piece of emissions controlled equipment and pass their inspection. Thanks Cartman.

Reading the warranty and emissions statement, it states that the parts with an asterisk (*) are not legal for on-road use. The only part with an * are the fuel injectors; but the larger fuel injectors are the same ones already in the GT models from 04 upwards? Does that mean from 04 you can't buy a GT in California?

Yes, I just had mine done 3 weeks ago with no problems here in Annapolis, they only do the OBD2 test on the newer cars, and the gas cap test, no tail pipe sniff, no IM240 drive test on the rollers, did not even open the hood. A very fast $14.00 spent.

No, it just means that those injectors were not ceritified with that engine in that year.
