Smile injector question?

so i have been waiting for my stage 1 for about a month now from jegs, and then i talk to this guy who owns a srt-4 at a local meet and told me that is better to go with a stage 1 pcm and stage two 682cc injectors along with a new SRT-4 Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump, he said it was way more beneficial, just like to hear some input whether this is a good idea or not? thanks!

My currents mods are 3" downpipe turbo back, boost controller @17 with WGA and upgraded IC and Homemade CAI.

Do you have a wideband A/F gauge?

Those injectors and pump will make the engine way to rich with out some type of piggy back fuel control computer, or a reflash of the stock one, and as Meangreen said you will need either a dyno or a wide band Air fuel ratio gauge to see what you are running to tune the engine, to much fuel will slow you down just as much as to little fuel the Stage 1 with stock injectors runs pig rich anyway like 10 to 11:1 at WOT, you will lean out some with your WGA & boost controller, but with all that extra fuel with the Stage 2 injectors and a larger pump you will need fuel control, and a way to watch it for tuning.

thats too much fuel you dont need a 682s with a 255lph

im running that in my SRT and im still rich at 22psi spike and 18 hold with a 15 fall at redline. I have an SAFC II that ive been putting off to install on the SRT, but on that setup im getting 32mpg.

577s should work for you.
