Question about used Stage 1 PCM

I think I just found a used Stage 1 PCM for my DC3.

I know it will have to be re-flashed to my VIN #.
I am wondering if I could just take it to my local Dodge dealer, or will I have to ship it off to Mopar?

A used Stage 1 must be specific for the year and transmission type of your PT. If that is good, you sent it to "Flight Systems" to have your VIN flashed into the unit. You can probably find Flight Systems with a search on this site or PTcrew.com. Flight Systems fee with shipping should be about $50. I'm no sure if a dealer$hip is a good choice.

I did a search in the classifieds over at PTCrew and found a guy selling a Stage 1 PCM for a 2004 manual. It should work for mine once it is re-flashed. I haven't bought it yet, but I am seriously thinking about. It is half the price of a new one!!

Reading other threads and advice from other members of the forum I was told to contact "Bob" at Flight Systems to re-flash that PCM for my VIN #.

How do I get ahold of "Bob" at Flight Systems?

I went to the Flight Systems websight and didn't see anything about PCM re-flashing.

Ok, I have sent Stephanie a couple emails now and no response. I recieved my PCM today, and would like to get it sent off to get it re-flashed.

the dealer should bealbe to do it for you but it'll be about $100 and should take about 30min.

thats how long it took for my SRT and the PCM is in a more difficult spot to reach.

I bought a used Stage 1 PCM, so it isn't in the car right now. Several other forum members have said that Flight Systems would re-flash it for around $50-$55 shipped.
