Just let me straighten things out!!!! I am by NO means crapping on the Stage 1 kit OR anyone who purchased one... The kit is GREAT, but for what it is. It is a little bit of a "boost" with out going overboard.
I am personally totally psychotic, and want run 12second quarter miles and leave V8s and VTECHs in my dust!!!! ALL MUST FEAR THE CRUISER OF DEATH!!!!.... oh right ......my pills....

COP TZER,

Just for the record, you don't necessarily need 12-sec, (although I'm not agin it ), to whip up on the Vtecs and V8s! Tonight I beat all comers in the Rice bowl event, and added three highly modded Mustang GT 5.0's! Now, let's clarify the Mustang part before anyone goes ape on me. First, all three were quicker than my GT in the 1/8 mile, assuming we started even. I averaged in 98-101 degree heat, 9.60's, with a best of 9.471. They ran 9.19 best to a 9.61 worst. However, my average light was 0.5665 to their average light of .9744. Ergo, I won them all quite easily. I also took out a modded Eclipse with another hole shot, and nearly held off a very modded Trans-Am! All in all, I am very happy with the Stage I. BTW, I averaged .3 seconds quicker in the 1/8 than 3 weeks ago at the same track with almost identical track temps. If it wasn't for having to baby it off the line to keep it from over spinning and shifting into 2nd prematurely, I'm sure I could have gotten some 9.3's! My average 60-foot was only 2.35 or so. Very poor. New tires arrive next Wednesday, so back to the track next Friday to see how they help.

Enjoy! I sure am![8)]

Have you tried running with Traction Control on?

I am happy to see the first tests on the track![8D]

I installed mine last night, did the transmition learning thing and after that, I was forced to test with a slightly modded BMW 325i, At the line we were side by side but when my car shifted into third, I pulled ahead from him like three cars! The BMW was manual transmition.

We talked after the pass and he was amazed that a "Cruiser" had beaten his "Ultimate Driving Machine"!![?]

Yes, I have, but I will never do it again. Reason? One night, with TracControl on, I experienced what I thought was massive wheel hop. Later, I discovered that my "wheel hop" was actually the TracControl banging the brakes to stop the spinning! True wheel hop is very rapid and in tune, so to speak, with the RPM of the tires. I would describe it like driving on some corrugated tin. However, TracControl, when faced with so much tire spin, slams the brakes rapidly, but not near the frequency of true tire hop. TracControl "hop" is akin to driving over 2 x 4's laid 6" apart!

I would seriously look into a new dealer to get your service done. I was having an issue with my original one with the stutter, and after changing dealers I've been treated like gold. $71.00 oil change?? Thats insane!
