I just checked to see what my dealer charged for my "Five Star" oil change (Mobil 1) and filter...he charged $72.90. I chocked it up to "...developing a repore with the dealership" in my endevor to have him put in writing the "warranty" issues for Stage 1. He was supposed to have his DM issue in writing a statement that only the Stage 1 parts weren't warrantied, and if I burned a piston that wouldn't be covered. The turbo, tranny, etc. would be. That was July 20th, nothing yet. I'll call the Service Manager tomorrow and see what the latest tale is.

My Five-Star Chrysler*Jeep Dealer charges $29.95 for a lube, oil, and filter (parts & labor). This seems reasonable to me. Also, they allow me to bring in my own oil (Mobile 1) and filter which I did just recently for my 6,000 service. For the oil/filter change I was only charged for the labor--$15.06. Guess I'm fortunate to have an excellent dealership. However, I have made the "extra effort" to develop a positive working relationship with staff which I believe has paid off for me in receiving excellent service.

Ok. fence sitting. How is the gas mileage after the stage one install if one is not a street racer? Also, our DC dealer changed our oil in the GT (I brought my own Mobile 1) for $16 and change.

Mike

Good price! Sounds like you also have a true Five-Star dealership.
