Tommy, When I picked mine up I had to baby/drive it about 30 or so hiway miles to get it home. On the hiway everything seemed aok. I pulled into the driveway and let it idle a few and it was idling up and down between 1500 & 800 and as you said, the turbo was spooling. My wife came out and said why does it sound like a jet taking off[:I]. Then I shut it off. I could feel the coolant boiling in the overflow. Opened the hood and it seemed hotter than norm under there. All this was before I did the tranny learn thing. I disconnected - batttery term 1/2 hour later I took it out and did the tranny learn thing and all has been ok since. Hope yours is ok

Be sure to add 50/50 mix of coolant/distilled water to bring the coolant overflow jug back up to the proper level. If the air wasn't bled from the bleed valve when the coolant was put back in during the install, there may have been trapped air in the system that caused the overheat situation.
I agree with Kevin and Macster on the quick learn proceedure; although there are provisions on the DRBIII scantool to do this at the dealership if it was dealer installed. |

You must do the tranny quick learn or
you will get a bad acting toy.

be careful not to disconnect the intake hose from the intake this will make the car idle very high.

I am very pleased with the kit also.
Now the car feels like it should have come from DC. The transmision shifts better and positively. there is no burp between shifts. the car moves with almost no throttle pressure. It pushes you against the seat when accelerating. now the car honors the Chrysler moto: "Drive=Love" Wy can't they warant it!!!! now the car operates like it should have from DC... Just Two cents Ian
