There is no "Stutter" at any gear. All I am getting is linear acceleration!!!

Also, second and third gear are now longer at WOT in the auto stick with stage one.
It's shifting from second to third at 70MPH and from third to fourth at 110MPH!!!!

With the factory tires, First gear is useless at WOT. All I get is smoking tires, "TRACTION" light blinking all thru the gear but once it hits second,It feels like a kick in the but!

Ian

I have been on the road and have been unable to post! My stage one is in! with Mopar BOV. The car is being tuned in a professional manner. Every part has been Dyno'd! We are in the final stages before information can be released. I will say that BOV makes incredible differance and wheels at 17in is whats dialed into the ECM. We are going to pains takingly going to check every part seperatly and together and different combinations to get the best HP at the wheels. Exhaust is now being checked. Then back to wheels and tires. I have forwarded all what I learned on this forum to my cars tuners and creators (California Cruisers). So with that said, be patient with me and I will hopefully be able to release all the information soon.

I also want to Thank Thrifft for sending my BOV kit.. It made an incredible differance.

Moondoggie!

Romli...
1) No chance in hell, you could have it all done for the same price and time. You're right, but i think it may be more tunable in the long run.
2) I'm refering to the Air/Fuel ratio. If it's running rich, by increasing the boost and keeping the stock fuel mapping will it not level out the ratio??
3) I know NOTHING about the SRT-4, other than it's fast...damn it there aren't even in Canada yet...man are we getting the shaft
4) Thanks for the BOV info, it makes sense now that you brough up the whole ECU thing interefering with every thing...

- It IS safer, but it is overkill; b/c the car runs rich as it is, therefore an increase in boost would bring the car to ideal running conditions. By increasing both boost and fuel you are simply maintaining a similar air fuel ratio, and continuing to run rich and not have an optimized mixture.

So what happens if you run the Stage 1 PCM with the stock injectors?

Just completed a full test session at the local strip with a Stage 1 PT Turbo Auto. Looks like the best launch is 1800 to 2000rpm with the track control off. I've been making all of the runs in drive for consistency but will start playing with the AutoStick shifts.
All of my previous auto turbo racing[8)] showed that I always went quicked when short shifting the 1-2 and laying on full boost and the TC.
I think the car will make a good NHRA legal A or B Front stocker.
Stay tooned
