reseating the PITA bolt with the BOV mounted is difficult but can be started from the top. Have sme one move the oil line out of the way and from below you can get a 10mm crescent wrench on it and really crank the thing tight. 1st time I didn't have that and could not torque the screw tight enough. Ramps help a lot.

HEHE, ramps. I started out that way, buuuut....

(this is embarrassing)

Saturday.

I bought the tools, let the car cool down, get something to eat (food quells caffeine shake) before I install the BOV. I place the Rhino ramps where I want them in the garage for best lighting. [8D] The first time I used these Rhino ramps, I had no problem. However, this time I was having a hard time getting to the top. (Are my fears of driving over the edge unjustified? [:I])

On the third try, I gave it some more gas halfway up the ramp. Bad move. The right wheel flung the ramp right under the car. Fortunately it went straight and did not scratch the car. The metal edge at the very bottom of the body dug into the ramp. (Glad they weren't metal!)

I backed up ever so slowly to get off of the left ramp so that I could drive the right wheel onto it to get the wedged ramp out. At least that contingency plan worked. I put the ramps away, pulled back into the garage, and did something where less could go wrong (reading), for I was in no condition after that to work on the Rolocoaster. That was Attempt #1. [xx(]

Sunday.

Had my pot of coffee, ate, decided Attempt #2 would not involve getting under the car. After looking at it over a soda, I decided it did not look that difficult with the ratchet wrench. [B)]

Go to Lowes and buy some $15 jackstands (Theyre blue and black so you may not like the color scheme[]) But at least that way you can jack the car up, put it on the stands and be done with it.

I hate those ramps. Im always worried Ill fly over the edge and break everything [B)]

I just thought of this, maybe a bad idea.

If you put a floor jack under the back of the differential, you could pivot the motor forward on the torque struts. Course it might also raise the motor, and offset all that extra room you'd get by moving the turbo away from the firewall....

I'm gonna try it this weekend next.

Since this topic was resurrected from the dead, let me ask, is anyone still using the scanned instructions I posted? I'm deciding whether or not to keep the BOV and Stage I instructions posted since they do take up some space.

I just installed the MOPAR BOV Valve and on my ride home from the dealer I put the heater on. In came a ruch of Exhaust Smelling Gas that forced me to open a window to get rid of. Has anyone had this happen ? Does the BOV Value put Exhaust out into the engine compartment that gets sucked in by the Heater / AC System ? If yes, I will definetly need to remove this ! It sounds so cool though, like a WHOOSH !

Nope, never had that happen. Mine's been on for about 7-8 months or so.
