Welcome to the forum.

I don't have the Turbo but I believe all the Stage 1 consists of for your PT is a new computer. You just swap it out for your old one and there's a procedure you have to follow which is laid out in printed form when you buy the kit. There was larger injectors to install but the 04 and 05 cruisers already came with them so it should be pretty easy for a do-it-yourself project.

Yeah, if you can turn a wrench and drive a car you can easily do it yourself.

Just purchased a Stage 1 Kit for my 05 convertible off of EBay, got it for $250 supposed to be brand new. Still waiting for it to arrive. The price also incuded the flashing of the VIN. The kit for the 05 just includes the PCM. I can't wait for it to arrive and then for spring to get here.
