yes i have always run premium gas. originally i had to replace 2 sensors not sure wich ones i would have to look it up on my mechanics bill. ok i went to replace my stage one with my stock pcm and i found what i think was power steering fluid all inside one of the plugs (the white one ) i cleaned it all out with wd40 and plugged my stage one back in. ran perfect. thank god. anyway i am still not sure how the power steering fluid got in must have a leak somewhere. this however does still not explain why the engine light will not come on with my stage one. is this normal i would think if somthing was wrong or missing or whatever i should still get error codes with my stage one but this is not the case ? i am sure this is not normal

What color was the fluid? Do you have an auto or manual? If the liquid is clear and you have a manual it is brake fluid from either the clutch or brake reservior probably. If it is red it is ATF and I am not sure how it got there. Either way I am not sure how the S1 would burn out sensors. Going over the various sensors in my head they pretty much just send a signal one way TO the PCM. The PCM then tells other components what to do based on that info and calculations. You have something else going on. It would help to identify the sensors replaced.

ok i pretty sure the first 2 sensors were just worn out ...... when i got the fluid in my plug for my pcm it started running like crap like when the other sensors went. at any rate it was just the fluid disrupting the pcm. but i still the engine light should come on warning of missing or whatever, it never did when my first 2 sensors went or when the fluid mysteriously got on my pcm plug. i had to put my old pcm back in so the engine light would come on and i could look up the error codes ??? with my stage one the engine light never comes on even if it should. anyway its running good now and i am happy ....... although i am selling it now
cause i bought a sport trac ......... i will miss it ......
