You should know better than most here; I haven't a clue[:I]

Good to see you on the forum. Wish I could have stayed a little longer while in Houston and swapped some more lies with you and the group.

Wasnt it great talking Cruiser in the middle of all the vette gang. The guys love the GT's. I guess I should have left my city and state off the profile. Would have taken a bit longer to figure out who I was. After all of our conversations I am still considering the Stage I. I guess Steves install will push me off the fence.[^]

Bummer, I was hoping it would take Dalite a little longer to catch on myself. BTW, I never said we didn't bench race, a lot!

Matthew,

You made an impression and I remembered the forum name you had used. Anyway, it is good to see you here.

Yeah, it was great to kick some ideas and theory around in the midst of the "big boys". I am hoping that Steve will get his kit installed soon to get his take on it. I am sure it will seem like a big jump. He got a taste of my 5 spd with MBC on his last visit, and the Stage I should trump that gain considerably.

I keep hearing rumors that Mopar Performance Parts may be offering a rebate/discount for Stage I owners toward Stage II, so I have decided to get in on the fun and continue to wait for my Stage I kit that I ordered in July, weeks prior to the Houston trip. It still hasn't arrived. I had been considering either cancelling the order, or having them send it back, but that small statement of defiance wouldn't have any true effect.

From my perspective, unless you are ready to make a lot of mechanical changes and get someone to prototype a fuel management system, the Stage I looks to offer the best bang for the buck. I hope someone cracks the code soon and gets with it on making a data logger/programming combo. Unfortunately, with the limited customer base and the rapid changes being made on the PCM, that may not be a profitable venture for an aftermarket concern to undertake.

Apologies for the hijack of the thread; catch you guys around the forum.

David
