Stage 2 Hardware:
4 - +30% fuel injectors 1 - 3.0 Bar TIP sensor 1 - 3.0 Bar MAP sensor 1 - High preload wastegate actuator 1 - Stage 2 PCM 1 - Turbo toys kit 1 - 2.5" cat-back exhaust system (required, but not included) Stage 2 Turbo Toys: It is a 3 switch bezel that fits in the space between the rear defrost and power outlet. IC Sprayers - The switch is a three position switch: OFF, AUTO, and MANUAL. The AUTO mode is an algorithm that operates the sprayers based on certain vehicle and engine parameters. The manual mode will allow the driver to override the acontrol algorithm and spray on demand. Dial-A-Boost - The dial is a four position dial. Each position controls the boost to a different level. The dial will allow the driver to reduce the engine output from the Stage 2 advertised output of 280 ft-lb and 260 hp. This will be great for rain, snow, and mud. High Octane Fuel - This switch will change the engine calibration. It will require 100 R+M/2 octane unleaded fuel. Both torque and power will be increase above 280 ft-lb and 260 hp. |

Nothing that I write here is my own, I borrowed the info from the srt site [8D], consequently the horsepower projections will be different for us.(Lower)[:I]
Remember that these are crank numbers, not wheel numbers; take off 10-20% for drivetrain loss then you'll have wheel numbers. |

So if I am reading the last part of that correctly, it says that with pump gas (91+ Octane) you would see the advertised HP and Torque numbers, but if you run 100+ Octane this would be increased by re-calibrating the engine? I don't understand how this would work.

Squeezing the most HP as possible. Advance timing, bump boost, everything that would cause 91 octane to preignite. In southern Cal selected 76 stations sell "racing octane" gas for an exorbitant price, and I'm sure that something similar goes on all over the world (supply and demand).
