Easy install. The hardest thing I found was undoing the elect conectors. And you just might leave a little blood. Watch for sharp edges.
Stage ! Rocks and I think it even helps MPG.

So, ive been running regular (87) fuel because I read thats what my turbo lite is designed to use -- but when moving up to stage 1, I am guessing I should start running premium (93)?

Shhhh! Youre getting me really excited about it, and I cant do the work for a few more weeks due to the temps around here.

Just sold my '02 Elantra today, so I have the money to order all the parts. But I want to do the plugs, wires, and air intake before the S1 upgrade. Still a bit chilly here in WI, and I dont have a heated garage -- so I will have all the parts here to stare at for a few weeks until I can get them in...

not rep'n another site (but i am) check out the MOD BIBLE @ PTCREW.com. they show you how to do everything you are talking about. S1 for an 04 = 4bolts and 3 connectors (4 for auto's). Airbox mod will also save you some money...it's all in the bible

Josh

PS- i am running a S1 on a 5speed w/ a full 3"system (no cat) and a S2 WGA and can pass the emissions/smog test.... now if they look and see i dont have a cat, then they will fail me! airquality though, i'm good

Careyk, just look back through this thread.

Looks like in your sig you list a 2003 manual...

According to MeanGreen's part numbers:
1 P5007943 Turbo Upgrade Kit, Stage 1, Manual Transmission,
2003 PT Turbo

Google shows a couple places selling it:
P5007943 - Google Search

Looks pretty expensive on the 03 tho...
Mopar Performance PT CRUISER TURBO UPGRADE KITS

About $658... Ouch. Probably because on the '03 it is coming with the injectors...
