Default HELP! Stage 1 problems after new computer
Long story short.....Bought a stage 1 1.5 years ago....ran great

month ago....computer died....order another stage one...but

2004 (I have an 2003) figured computers were same and didn't need injectors

now...car runs great but engine light is one and cooling fan won't shut off....mechanic cannot even read the computer.

Any thoughts? computer/car mismatched or other issues?

Stage 1 has to get flashed with your VIN # - don't see how that'd work with different years.
Your best bet is to ask on PTCrew - lots of expertise with Stage 1 there.

All seems to point that can't put 04 in an 03 PTCREW guys seem to be united on this....except for the odd one that wants me to scrap all that and got to a diablosport....hahah


CRAP! 450$ down the drain....

The silver 03 GT is gone, but a Solstice has arrived. There are three more PT's to play with though

My personal thanks to veteran and novice crewbies that have offered information and how-to's they have been instrumental in taking LiquidPT from modded car to stock to live a more quiet and sedate life.
