2008 Stage 1 Availability

Soon I will be shopping for a PT. The PT was not real high on my list until I discovered the GT, then later the Turbo lite + Stage 1. I've been digging and digging and I've managed to find part #'s for '06 Stage 1 PCM's, and I recently found a site selling '07 PCM's. If I get a PT, I will be using an AirCheck voucher, so it has to be 2006 or newer. Around me, I can get '06-'08's for the same price with <20k miles, so I might as well get an '08. I can't find a Stage 1 for the '08 and that's definitely a deal breaker. Anyone know if they are out there? For that matter does anyone know if Stage 1 is available for '09's in case I find one of those for cheap? Of course I will just buy a GT if one is available, but Turbo lites are a lot more common. I know the GT's only go up to 2008.

All hope is not lost.... Diablosport.com sells a product called a Predator. This product reflashes you PCM to whatever aspects you like. Not a tuning kind of guy? it already come with a tune (93 octane tune) which has posted numbers better than any stage one kit.... then when you get more adventurous you can begin to tweek it to your liking.

My DSP (diablo sport predator) to my door was $445.60. If you buy from Rage-tek the will include the 93 octane tune and a custom tune (which can be made for better MPG)....

That sounds very promising. I'd love to be able to swap programs (one for me, one for the wife, and one for the frequent 300 mile trip to the in-laws). Thanks I'll check it out.

Just looked and I only see applications up to 2006.

I'll keep looking maybe I am missing something.

The dsp is 4 months old to the cruiser... Give it a month it will happen

One thing he does not mention is that the predator does not have a lot of options for the auto trans cars.. And a turbo lite will only be found in an auto trans.. Just sayin.. If you know going in its all good.. Why the predator is built off tech learned from the SRT4(neon) our cousin but the difference is that they %100 5-speed cars. Just FYI the Predator can be a good tool, you just have to do your research with it..

they are not supporting the pt cruiser past 2006.
