my bov is on backorder I looked at pictures on modernperformance.com and it looks like the bov is just a plate with a cut out.Is this all it is if so I Think I can make one . can someone tell me what it is before I try to do someting stupid Thanks

You are right it is a plate with three screws and presure washers.
The plate is a powdercoated aluminum block with four 1/4" holes on the three sides. in the middle of the plate there are two holes. one on the left side with the form of an oval that matches the turbine housing. the other hole is at the center with a + - 1" in diameter, this hole conects to the four holes on the side of the plate but it is blocked at the reverse side of the 1" hole, so it is forced to vent thru the 1/4" holes. It uses the factory valve which I think is the expensive part. it is great that they decided to use it this way, it keeps the cost down and it works great! Ian

PTGtCB...I would search out tthrift here on this site and contact him. I got mine from him and he is still selling them. I think it was about $60.
