stage 1 to use stage 2?

over at the srt forum, a poster questioned if stage 1 is required to use the up coming stage 2 kit?

Actually, from what i've heard, the stage one will be completely replaced by the stage two. If you look at the proposed contents for stage two a different PCM and i think different injectors are on the list.

YOU CAN GO STARIGHT TO STAGE II IF YOU LIKE, BUT I KNOW THEY'RE STILL TESTING THE PT ENGINE FOR DURABILITY, SO STAGE II MIGHT BE A LITTLE LATER THAN WE EXPECT, I SUGGEST YOU START WITH STAGE I IN THE MEANTIME.
