Stage 1
Has overheated twice, doesn't do it often, went along for about 1500 miles after first event, then it happened again. I think others, who have posted that the problem is a software glitch in the PCM not signaling the fan to turn on, are right. Have heard others with OEM PCM have had problems also, so I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem to be limited to Stage 1 cars. Am hoping that it just never happens again, or, that DC develops a PCM flash fix THAT WON'T OVERWRITE THE STAGE 1 STUFF IN THE PCM!

I've had Stage 1 in for about 5 weeks and 2000 miles with NO overheating. I've been running the 160 degree thermostat for the last 2 weeks with no problems.

Thanks guys!!
This is the kind of info we need to get. Then we look at time frame of purchase, compared to overheat, and no overheat. Might find a date range to work with. I understand that some S1 may have been flashed for this overheat thing already. Mine I just got last month. Anyway it is good info to see who has S1 compared to all the listers as a ratio thing.

Spidy,
Read them all. My intent is not cure as I know that, flash, ground wire and such. Just wanna see how many S1's are running compared to the volume of listers, and if all are overheating or not. Dont care about stock PCM, know the flash is there.
