Default BOV Install

Is there any reason to remove the battery to install the BOV, per Mopar's instructions?
Sure doesnt look like it would help to get to where you need to be to install the new one.

FWIW: Only thing I removed for mine was the airbox, had plenty of room.

No big Whoop, but what it in fact says, BLOW-OFF VALVE CONVERSION KIT DODGE SRT-4/CHRYSLER PT TURBO step #3. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable, then the positive cable (Fig.1) And jump down to #6. Lift the battery out of the battery tray and remove the battery from the vehicle.
BOV is now on board.
