I'm in, especially if it looks like Stage 3 for the PT is not likely to happen.

despite all my bitching about stage one, i'd definitely be in on stage II. This seems like a way better way to spend the money. If it's compatible with aftermarket boost controllers that would seal the deal for sure...

I considering also...held off on Stage 1 as I wanted to price cost of Stage 2 then decide . For me the toyz are no go ....just give me the PCM /injectors as in Stage 1 . Then I'll ditch MBC .

Going to Stage 2 will really depend on the price and if and what the Stage 1 rebate is. If I think the price is too high I am happy with Stage 1 and I still have other mods (sway bars, gauges, strut bar, etc.) I want to do. The Stage 2 for the SRT-4 according to one dude, including the Turbo toys, will be under $2000. Without the toys who knows. I thought I read somewhere that for the PT the Stage 2 will be around $1300, probably minus the toys. Unfortunately, for that kind of money, my wife may give me a permanent limp. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Mopar SRT-4 Stage 2 (Under $2,000.00, December 2003)
-682 cc/min Injectors
-Stage 2 PCM
-Upgraded Wastegate Actuator
-3.0 Bar MAP Sensor
-3.0 Bar TIP Sensor
-2.5" Cat-Back Exhaust System (Optional)
-Turbo Toys Hardware and Components
--Dial-a-Boost (4-pos Thumb-wheel)
--Intercooler Sprayer (w/ switch)
--Pump vs. Racing Fuel Switch

3BarBoost,
You've probably read a number of my posts already...I'm hard-core...give me S2 AND the toys. I'll not be happy until my car runs solid consistent 13's. I definetly want the toys because I like to play with my car (tune, adjust, and run again) rather than just turning the key and driving it.

I would probably consider S3 after I put another year or two on my car (I'd say 70-80% chance of purchase).

You give me a part number for S2 today...you'll have an order today.
Deen

P.S. One other thing to think about...you mentioned the poor sales of S1 for the PT's...pretty hard to sell something when even your dealers or dealer-mechanics don't know what the heck S1 is or even heard about it. THANK YOU for doing this survey!

i will buy a stage II kit as soon as it becomes avail. as far as the toys go i think the ic sprayer wouldn't give the daily driver any extra HP, just looks cool. the dial a boost as far as i know they only dial the boost down and won't increase the boost any more than the stage II kit will alow, i guess at the track when you launch the car turning the boost down may work OK but i would be fine with out this toy also.the high oct. fuel switch if it connects to the ecu and recalulates something inside the module for more power i would like that.

PS. 3Bar thank you for all of your support and time on this forum, your words and wisdom are respected by all the members. You and Gina seem too care about this project and the pt owners , and for that thank you.

thanks Tommy Thrift

In the immortal words of Cosmo Cramer “giddy-up”.. I am in, S2 all the way.

BTW, I find it hard to believe (to me) that Mopar is reluctant to offer this for the GT. Even 100 units of the S1 is approx 35k in revenue and since many people are not buying S1 and waiting for S2, I would expect the number will increase to over 100. So, if Mopar can sell 150 kits at approx 1k (150k in revenue), it seems like a no brainer to me. PLUS, consider the money generated to the dealerships for installations, etc.

3bar: I too have held off on stage I to listen for stage II torque
numbers - I like what I hear. No toys, whistles, bells or flashing lights for me. 280 will be nice for hi-speed crusin' and the occasional back-road twisties. Thanx for stickin' around!!
