I thought I start a topic with a positive slant.
I've had my stage I kit for about 3 months. I asked Medved Chrysler here in Denver Colorado about the kit. Jarred, the service manager had not heard anything about it. He promised to get back to me 'tomorrow'. He did. Quoted me $600 for the kit and installation in my automatic GT. It took about 10 days for him to recieve the kit, and he had my car one day for the installation. All went well. I couldn't be more pleased. He also believes the Stage I kit has a Chrysler warranty (I haven't told him different). ![]() Larry |

Quote:
$365 for the kit ($428 list, Automatic) 25 for tax 180 for labor (2 hours) $570 total for Stage I and labor 23 for oil change $593 total invoice I should point out the amount of money I spent was a secondary item, not the point of my message. But since it has become the focus I will comment here in Denver there is no mechanic/dealership/repair shop worth his salt that would charge $54 per hour. Nor could they live on $54 per hour. Having said that, all of you that can get it installed for $108 ought to jump on the opportunity. Larry

Or you coulda done it yourself for free...in 3 hours...
Dealers will usu try to rape you. Mine wanted 500 for the install...let see at 74/hr, that would take them 8 hours to change a set of injectors and screw in 9 bolts for the PCM. I wasn't born yesterday...but, as long as they don't give you a hard time, screw up the install or try to blame everything under the sun on the Stgae 1 then your lucky. Have fun with it.
